I’m not sure why but, as a young child, I wanted to be a waitress. I guess I just liked being of service and making people happy. I would endlessly take my parent's orders and then, I would serve them their delicious, imaginary meals with a smile. I did accomplish the goal of being a waitress as a young adult. From serving, I advanced to the catering department of an exclusive, boutique hotel where I was introduced to the world of weddings and events. I fell in love with this industry! Who knew? Since then, I have worked for a few wedding and event companies and honed my skills, finally venturing out on my own.
I thoroughly love what I do. It is my passion. I have worked with many brides, grooms and bridal parties, caterers, photographers, florists, hotels, etc. I have a combined 24 years in the hospitality industry, the last 10 years being in the wedding and event industry. I feel very confident that I can throw one heck of a party!
Let’s get started
I am a very lucky woman. I have a blended family of 5 young adults all under the age of 25, a wonderful man, and a very spoiled dog named Cookie who may as well be another child. Even though it has been challenging, I feel very fortunate in being able to spend quality time with my kids over the last few years while building my business.
I am a collector of cool things such as coffee mugs or unusual bottles for my bar. If it sparkles, that's for me. I love everything sparkly. I think it's a genetic thing. I am really trying to keep that under control but it's hard.
On any given Sunday, I may jump into our vintage VW bus or convertible bug and cruise up to Pappy & Harriets (our local saloon and fun venue) to grab a bite to eat and catch up with friends.
Life is good. It's simple. I wouldn't change a thing! My life is all about family and your wedding or event. So, enough about me. Let's find out about you!
